Earn Free Featured Days: Our Referral Program Explained

We just launched a referral program that actually makes sense. No complicated points systems, no minimum thresholds, no expiration dates on your rewards. You share a link, someone features a listing, you get free featured days. That's it.

I've been frustrated by referral programs that make you jump through hoops for rewards you'll never use. So we built ours to be stupidly simple.

How It Works

Here's the entire process in four steps:

1. Log in to your account and go to your Ad Management page or the Referrals page. You'll see your unique referral link.

2. Share that link however you want — WhatsApp, Telegram, social media, text message, carrier pigeon. We have share buttons built in, or you can just copy the link.

3. When someone clicks your link and signs up, they appear in your referral stats as a new signup.

4. When that person features one of their listings (any tier, any payment method), you instantly earn 7 free featured days added to your balance.

That's it. No minimum payout. No waiting period. The days hit your balance the moment their payment confirms.

What Can You Do With Free Days?

Your earned days work like a balance. When you go to feature one of your own listings, you'll see a green button: 'Use X referral days — Free, no payment required.' Click it, and your listing is featured instantly without pulling out your wallet.

The days stack. If you refer three people who all feature listings, that's 21 free days. You can use them all on one listing or spread them across multiple listings. They never expire.

And yes, you can combine them with our other features. Use your free days for the Search tier, then pay to upgrade to Homepage if you want maximum visibility. Or save them up and feature a listing for a full month without spending a peso.

Track Everything From Your Dashboard

We built a full stats dashboard on the Referrals page so you can see exactly how your link is performing:

Clicks — how many people clicked your link. Signups — how many actually created an account. Converted — how many of those went on to feature a listing (this is when you earn days). Pending — signups who haven't featured yet (your potential future earnings). Days Earned — total days you've accumulated. Available — your current balance ready to use.

You can also share directly to WhatsApp, Telegram, or X right from the dashboard. The share messages are pre-written so you don't have to think about what to say.

Who Benefits Most From This

If you're a recruiter or realtor posting multiple listings, the math is obvious. Refer five people, earn 35 free days, feature your listings for over a month without paying. That's real money saved.

If you're in expat Facebook groups or WhatsApp chats, you're probably already recommending places to find apartments or jobs. Now you get rewarded for it.

If you run a business in Colombia and your customers or network could use a free classifieds platform, share your link. Every signup who features something gives you free advertising for your own listings.

Why We Built It This Way

Most referral programs give you credits toward some future purchase, or points that convert at terrible rates, or rewards that expire before you can use them. We didn't want any of that.

Free featured days are the same product people pay real money for. When you earn them through referrals, you're getting the exact same thing — your listing at the top of search results with a featured badge. No asterisks, no fine print.

We also made the balance never expire because we respect that not everyone has a listing to feature right now. Maybe you'll refer people today and use the days three months from now when you're selling your furniture before leaving Colombia. They'll still be there.

The Fine Print (There Isn't Much)

You earn days when your referral features their first listing. Not on every purchase — just the first one. This prevents gaming the system while still making the reward meaningful.

Auto-renew uses your referral balance too. If you enable auto-renew on a featured listing and have days in your balance, it'll automatically use them when your featured period expires. No surprise charges — if your balance runs out, the feature simply expires.

Your referral link works across all our platforms — jobs, classifieds, community. It doesn't matter which subdomain they sign up on.

❓ How many days do I earn per referral?

Currently 7 days per referral who features a listing. This may change in the future, but any days you've already earned are locked in forever.

❓ Do my earned days expire?

No. Your balance stays until you use it. There's no expiration date.

❓ Can I earn days if I don't have a featured listing?

Yes. The days are banked in your balance regardless of whether you currently have a featured listing. You can use them whenever you want.

❓ What counts as a 'conversion'?

When someone who signed up through your link pays to feature a listing for the first time (any tier, any payment method including Bitcoin Lightning), that counts as a conversion and you earn your days.

❓ Where do I find my referral link?

Two places: your Ad Management page (/publicidad) and the Referrals page (/referidos). Both have your link with copy and share buttons.
